After Tory Lanez was found guilty, Yung Joc lost the bet and shaved his head

Most people agreed that it was unclear how Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion’s shooting trial would end. Both Yung Joc and Lanez thought the “Say It” rapper would get away with nothing. Joc was so sure of his guess that he made a bet with his co-host on Streetz 94.5 Morning Takeover, Mz. Shyneka, that he would shave his head if Lanez was found guilty.

The Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star kept his promise on Tuesday, December 27. Bonnie Banks joked, “I just want to see your bald head, you scalawag,” as Project Pat’s “Chickenhead” played in the background. She then offered him his “last supper.” After shaving off the last bit, Shyneka seemed “satisfied” and said, “This is for Megan Thee Stallion. This is for Meg and Roc Nation.”

Joc wanted it to be clear when he first made the bet that he wasn’t making fun of the trial. “This is a very sad situation, and I never want anyone to think that I’m making fun of their situation just because I’m watching it. It’s very sad, and it’s not good for our culture at all. I hope this goes well and that justice is done.”

The Sorry 4 What rapper tweeted before the verdict, “I’m going to leave this here one more time…

and see how it changes… NO WEAPON THAT IS MADE AGAINST ME WILL WORK… And every tongue that speaks against me in judgment will be judged guilty, so just sit back and watch. And never again ask me about the God I serve. This will be my last tweet.”

On Friday (Dec. 23), Lanez was found guilty of three felony charges related to the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion in 2020: assault with a semiautomatic handgun, carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and firing a firearm with gross negligence. He could go to jail for 22 years and be sent away. In January 2023, the Canadian rapper will be given a sentence.
