TheJasmineBrand says that rapper Erica Banks, who is 24 years old, will be on the next season of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” and that she has already started filming with the rest of the group. Our sources say that Erica Banks might be on the show as a close friend of Sierra Gates, one of the main characters. The ladies have already shown that they have great chemistry on screen. Earlier this month, the “Buss It” singer was on an episode of Sierra Gates’ “Ghetto Girlz Eat” YouTube food show.
It’s not clear how many shows Erica Banks will be in for Season 11 of the popular reality show, but sources say she was there filming the night her friend Sierra got into a heated argument with regular cast member and rapper Lil Scrappy, 39. Last week, the two co-stars are said to have had a verbal fight outside of an Atlanta restaurant and bar. During the fight, Lil Scrappy is said to have called Sierra Gates a “b*tch,” and Sierra Gates replied that at least she’s a rich one.
We’ve heard that Erica Banks was all smiles as she partied with her new co-stars inside the bar before the night went bad. Since then, pictures have been found online of Banks with “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” stars Scrappy, Yung Joc, 42, and (who seems to be) Erica Mena, 39, on the night of the fight.
After their wild night out, Sierra commented on one of Banks’ Instagram posts to tell her she “had a blast” with the Texas girl.
“Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” was first shown on VH1 in 2012. Many famous musicians have been on the show, like K. Michelle, who is 41, Stevie J, who is 51, and Rasheeda, who is 46. It was recently revealed that the show will now be on MTV and will take a more “docu approach to storytelling.” This summer is when Season 11 will start.
