Tami Roman Youngblood shows a lot of thanks on her 53rd trip around the sun. The Basketball Wives star wrote in an Instagram post about her birthday that “God has blessed me to see another one.”
The producer also said that she had “more time” to spend with her family and “do what I love.”
The birthday girl thanked her friends for their “support.”
“More time to be a better version of myself and more time with all of you who support and lift me up. “I’m so glad to be alive,” Roman wrote.
In the small clip that went with the caption, the mother of two children, who had them with NBA player and ex husband Kenny Anderson, looked beautiful in a black turtleneck and floral-print pants.
Some of Roman’s famous friends, like Tamar Braxton, then sang “Happy Birthday, Superstar” to the reality TV star in her comments.
The rapper Trina and the Real Housewives of Atlanta stars Cynthia Bailey and Kandi Burruss, both from the past and the present, also sent birthday wishes.
The latest season of the longtime reality star’s show, Basketball Wives, will end next week. She has been on and off the show since its second season.
But the Family Business star hasn’t always had a good year.
In an interview with “The Breakfast Club” a month ago, she talked about her problem with body dysmorphia, which was brought up in conversations about Roman’s sudden weight loss.
Roman said about her journey with body dysmorphia, “Every day is a struggle. If I look at my collarbone and see bones, I’m happy, but you’d say, “Tammy, you need to eat something.” I have a problem with how my body looks. I didn’t know I had it for most of my life until I got a diagnosis in 2008.
But with her two children and husband, Reggie Youngblood, by her side, Mrs. Youngblood is about to have her best year yet.
