Love & Hip Hop is getting more shows. After Love & Hip Hop: New York debuted in 2011, it led to spinoffs set in Atlanta, Hollywood, and Miami. Now, the franchise is growing again, and this time it’s going international. Love & Hip Hop: South Africa, the newest season of the hit reality show, has been released by MTV Africa.

The first episode of the show aired on MTV Africa on Monday, February 27. Similar to the U.S. version and its spin-offs, the series follows a group of hip-hop acts from the country as they try to balance their careers, relationships, and family lives while navigating the hip-hop music scene. There are 13 episodes in the first season.

Okayafrica says that the South African version of the show will feature recording artist and record producer Da L.E.S, also known as “The North God,” award-winning hip hop star Gigi Lamayne, “Utatakho” hitmaker Yanga Chief, and South African Music Award winner for Best Hip Hop Album Shane Eagle and his leading lady Nicole “Nikki” Swartz. DJ Speedsta is a hip hop culture expert and radio host. South African recording artist Fifi Cooper (also known as “Motswako First Lady”), who has won many awards, Money Badoo, who is 26 years old, and rapper, singer, and songwriter J Molley are also in the show.

Love & Hip Hop: South Africa is the first time the reality show has ever been filmed outside of the United States. On March 6, 2011, Love & Hip Hop: New York started the franchise. The first season did well, so the next year, Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta was added. 2014 brought Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood, and 2018 brought Love & Hip Hop: Miami.
Other spin-offs, like Chrissy & Mr. Jones, have also been added to the series. K. Michelle: My Life, Stevie J. and Joseline: Go Hollywood, Leave It to Stevie, Remy & Papoose: Meet the Mackies, and Family Reunion: Love & Hip Hop Edition. There are also several specials in the Love & Hip Hop series, such as Love & Hip Hop Atlanta: Dirty Little Secrets, 40 Greatest Love & Hip Hop Moments, Love & Hip Hop Hollywood: Dirty Little Secrets, and Love & Hip Hop New York: Dirty Little Secrets. Hollywood: Ray J & Princess’s Labor of Love, Love & Hip Hop: It’s a Love Thing, Love & Hip Hop: Lineage to Legacy, and Love & Hip Hop: Where Are They Now?, among many others. At the MTV Movie & TV Awards in 2019, Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta won the award for Best Reality Royalty, which was the franchise’s first award.

Tammy Rivera’s Daughter Draws Criticism for Graduation Attire

Yesterday, Tammy Rivera proudly shared pictures of her 18-year-old daughter’s high school graduation. However, the joyous occasion quickly turned sour as the online community, particularly Black Twitter, reacted negatively to the images. Media Take Out even confirmed the backlash, stating that Tammy’s teenage daughter had donned an inappropriate dress for such a formal event.

The dress in question was labeled by critics as a “negligee,” sparking further controversy. Although Media Take Out did not share the video, it reported that Charlie, Tammy’s daughter, hosted a graduation party at a popular Atlanta nightclub. A video from the event allegedly depicted several high school girls engaging in playful behavior.

If you’re curious about the video, you can find it on Charlie’s Instagram Stories.

In a nasty Instagram fight, Bambi accuses Erica Dixon and Emani of abuse

Published

In a scene right out of the “Love & Hip-Hop” writers’ room, Bambi, Erica Dixon, and Emani said mean things to each other.

This week, the trouble started when Lil Scrappy’s daughter Emani, whom he shares with Erica Dixon, asked fans to stop asking her about his wife Adizia “Bambi” Benson. She called her “that lady” after calling her “my stepmom.” Emani replied to Bambi’s picture with a comment that seemed to say, “It’s giving ‘That Lady.'” This didn’t sit well with Dixon, so he jumped into the comments of The Neighborhood Talk’s post about it to get Bambi together.

“You mean ‘That Old Lying A** Lady’ who was in the hot tub with Benzino. “Bih, you’re too old to be mean to my kid,” Dixon wrote. Emani also posted on the post, saying that she wasn’t trying to be sneaky but did want people to stop asking her about her father’s wife. Dixon told her daughter that she didn’t have to explain herself and that Bambi wouldn’t hurt her. From there, it seemed like the matter was over, but all hell broke loose very fast.

Bambi didn’t waste any time getting on Instagram to talk to both her mother and her daughter, accusing them of shady things. She says that Emani told her that Dixon had hurt her physically. Bambi says she was the one who comforted Emani when Dixon reportedly “busted her sh** all those times.” She even showed what looks like a report of the abuse, which she said had happened.

Emani then went on Live to support Dixon. She said that her mother “popped” her for being rude in a single situation. The 18-year-old says that Bambi can’t take care of the children she has with Scrappy. The girl said that both of her parents took very good care of her. Dixon then did her own IG Live session in which she accused Bambi of trying to get her kids taken away. Dixon also asked Bambi to get together and talk about their problems, just like they had done before.

Dixon and Bambi’s problems go back to when they were both on “Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta.” It seemed like things had gotten much calmer in the last few years, but that’s not true. I hope that these two women can finally work out their differences.

After a BBWLA fan called her out for making fun of Jackie Christie’s age, Jennifer Williams replied

Jennifer Williams and Jackie Christie are at odds on BBWLA.

Actresses Jennifer Williams and Jackie Christie from “Basketball Wives” just disagree on the current episode. At a fashion display, the tension between the two women was apparent. As a favor to her friend, Jennifer went to the event, but she also wanted to do some research for a hair show she was planned. Jennifer has a distinct hairstyle. She reasoned that the greatest way to promote her brand to the world would be through a really good hair display. Jackie showed irritation at it. She continued by asking why, given that she had previously modeled in fashion shows, Jennifer hadn’t just asked her for some guidance.

Once Jennifer marched down the runway during one of the shows, things got pretty messy. The fashion designer and Jennifer are pals, it turns out. They also invited her to take part in the show. It’s interesting to note that although it was Jennifer’s turn to shine, Jackie performed her own runway walk adjacent to the stage.

Jennifer didn’t like what Jackie was doing. However, Jackie revealed an intriguing fact when she made an attempt to call her out. She acknowledged that she occasionally publicly exacts revenge on Jennifer for things she done behind her back. Jackie claimed that Jennifer had offended her by making remarks about her open house listing. Jackie claims that Jennifer expressed dissatisfaction with the residence. Additionally, she claimed that “white women on Selling Sunset” are more difficult.

Jackie was deeply upset by these reported remarks from Jennifer because she is enthusiastic about her real estate job. Jennifer thought Jackie was overreacting, though. She should also be receptive to wise criticism.

On social media, Jennifer Williams has been responding.
When Jackie invited the women to Sacramento to observe Doug Christie’s day-to-day activities as an assistant coach with the Sacramento Kings, things only became worse. The hotel rooms were looked after by Jackie. Jennifer thought it was suspicious that she was given a premium room rather than a suite because of this. Jackie thought that Jennifer was making the vacation about herself when it should have been about Doug, so she went off Jennifer completely when she complained about the hotel.

Well, on the most recent episode, Jennifer and Jackie argued once more. The purported remark Jackie allegedly made about Jennifer’s future documentary this time had Jennifer indignant. The subject of the documentary is one of Jennifer’s ex-boyfriends who she claimed conned her out of a car. Jennifer was informed that Jackie claimed to be the project’s producer. Jackie asserted it wasn’t what she actually said. She only mentioned that she has previously worked as a producer. So Jennifer contacted her to ask for suggestions on how to proceed with the movie.

Nevertheless, Jennifer and Jackie got into another argument. The other women decided to split them apart when neither of them was willing to back down. However, it did little to stop the insults from flying. Jennifer once stated that she will not get into a fight with a “senior citizen.”

It’s interesting to note that not all “Basketball Wives” viewers saw Jackie’s age as a dig. They came to the conclusion that Jennifer is not particularly young herself.

The following tweet was posted on Twitter: “#basketballwives Jenn is 48 years old calling Jackie a “senior citizen” acting like she’s a spring chicken.”

Jennifer tweeted in response, “Get it right I’m 47,”
